Frequently Asked Questions
Create a free account, then add your first task from the Today or Tasks view. We recommend starting with 2–3 tasks and one habit to build momentum. The AI assistant (tap the sparkle icon) can help you plan your day.
Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm before anything is deleted. Account deletion is permanent and immediately removes all your data — tasks, habits, goals, objectives, and integrations — from our servers.
Yes. All your data — tasks, habits, goals, and integration credentials — is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Tap the grid icon in the top bar → Integrations → Google Calendar → Connect. You'll be redirected to Google to authorize access. Once connected, your calendar events will sync as time blocks in PlanPilot.
Go to Integrations → Canvas LMS → enter your institution's Canvas domain (e.g. uci.instructure.com) and an access token. To get a token: log into Canvas → Account → Settings → New Access Token. Note: Canvas sync requires you to be on your university network or VPN.
PlanPilot runs on a free server tier that spins down after inactivity. The first load after a period of inactivity can take up to 30 seconds. Subsequent loads are fast. Once you're logged in, the app caches your data locally so it works offline too.
The AI is powered by Google Gemini and has access to your tasks, goals, and schedule. It can add tasks, create time blocks, log habits, and more — just ask in plain English. Try: "Plan my day", "Add a task to study tomorrow", or "Schedule 2 hours for my project." There is a daily usage limit per account.
When creating a task, tap the recurrence option to set daily, weekly, or monthly repeats. When deleting a recurring task, you can choose to delete just that instance, this and all future instances, or all instances.
Yes. PlanPilot caches your data locally so you can view and interact with your tasks, habits, and goals without an internet connection. Any changes you make offline are queued and synced automatically when you reconnect.
Go to Integrations (grid icon in top bar) → tap Disconnect next to the integration you want to remove. This immediately removes your stored credentials from our servers.
